Overview and Responsibilities:

*** Global is seeking a Manager of Production Operations! This person will work other members of the Production Management department to supervise the daily operations of the productions inside the Broadcast Center. The Broadcast Center is a premiere production facility that is used for a variety of internal *** Global productions as well as 3rd party outside business productions. The Manager, Production Operations serves as the liaison *** ween the production and the facility management to ensure that the client receives the highest level of ser *** to meet their daily needs.

Responsibilities include:

· Manage and coordinate the daily studio operations of various productions

· Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

· Manage the below-the-line personnel assigned to the production.

· Work directly with the client (Directors, Producers, Managers, etc.) and other MPO and *** departments to facilitate below-the-line production planning and execution.

· Work closely with Scheduling & Planning on the final actualization and billing of work orders in the *** Internal database, *** Pulse.

· Troubleshoot issues that occur during production and production adhere to CBA rules for *** union employees.

· Manage and track all below-the-line production costs and billing and work closely with both MPO Finance and Accounting to ensure accurate and timely billing as well as financial reporting for each production.

· Check-in and coordinate all live remotes including satellite, fiber, zoom, Skype, etc. to ensure that remote guests and talent can hear the control room

· Ensure that remote guests and talent can hear the control room and that the control can see and hear the remote

· Ensure that the audio, video, Director and AD know how to see, hear and speak to the remote talent.

· Troubleshoot any issues with the remote.

Basic Qualifications:

· 5+ years of experience working in a Live Control Room environment.

· 5+ years of experience and knowledge of studio production requirements

· Knowledge of technical facilities and transmission

Additional Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting or Management preferred.

· Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel, and database entry

· Knowledge and or experience working in a union environment.

· Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment

· Must be flexible and work nights and/or weekends

· Ability to multitask, problem solve multiple issues at any given time

Hiring Salary Range: $86,000.00 - 115,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. Summary

FOH Coordinator's essential job is to provide support to Universal *** Hollywood's Park Food Operations Management in effectively coordinating and administering all aspects of food operations.

Responsibilities

• Provides Daily/Weekly/Monthly analytical data and reports directly related to food operation businesses including financials, health inspections, work safety and guest experience insights

• Supports and coordinates field operational projects and tools with various partners for testing and implementation which includes and not limited to Order Forecasting, Prep Level, Production Par Level Tools and Share Point Food Operation Site

• Supports all food and beverage operation SOP updates and revisions in partnering with HR and Learning & Organizational Development team and timely communication of updates to the field Operation Management

• Partners and coordinates with Operation Management, Shared Services and Park Chef for successful roll out of food and beverage menu programming including recipe updates, job aids and launch packages

• Supports and coordinates implementation and revision of food venues/carts menu, signages and planogram

• Partners with Sourcing in monitoring and communicating all supply chain matters including any supplies at risk to field Operation Management

• Monitors and supports field Operation Management with Emergency Orders due to back order or product shortages. Communicates to Production Kitchen/Bakery and Food Distribution Center teams to confirm Emergency Order requisitions.

• Communicates all Special Events to Operation Management by partnering with Special Event Team and supports coordination of all upcoming events

• Partners with EHS and field Operation Management in managing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) inventory, replacements and venue housekeeping audits. With direction of Director of Operations, may conduct unannounced housekeeping inspections

• Analyze customers' requirements and suggest existing features in our online ser *** products to meet their requirements.This will include regularly using our online ser *** products, digging in with the exact API endpoints being used by your customers, and using your technical background to suggest the most efficient way to integrate with our APIs.
  
• Train customers associated with your account(s) to use our products effectively. Your customers will be game developers and engineers, so a level of comfort communicating and collaborating with other developers is required.
  
• Regularly review the API usage patterns of your customers throughout an individual game's lifecycle.Use these API reviews to ensure customers are following best practices, align with the technical design you've provided, and are safely prepared to launch to the public.
  
• Facilitate load testing efforts by creating and maintaining simple scripts to mock API traffic coming from games.
  
• Assist with challenging level-one technical support requests and issue escalations from game teams. Address all account-related queries in a timely fashion.
  
• Provide internal **** development team with customers' feedback to help identify potential new product features or products.
  
• Provide support and game-specific implementation expertise to ****'s Live Operations team during live incidents to help us identify issues and recover.
  
• Review and provide feedback on implementation documentation.
  
• Develop relationships across own team and with peers on other teams for the purpose of enhancing knowledge and visibility of broader development process.Actively shares knowledge through peer mentoring and informal teachings. Learns from and receives guidance from more experienced employees.
  

Qualifications & Experience...

• Experience building or using a REST API or other web services.
  
• General understanding of game development disciplines and their inputs into online ser *** development.
  
• Aptitude for quickly learning new techniques and technologies. Consistently provides quality support of these technologies within the expected time frame.
  
• Ability to communicate concepts, verbally and in written format, to both technical and non-technical team members.
  
• Familiarity with task and bug tracking software packages (e.g. Jira).
  
• Performs most job-related duties with minimal supervision.
  
• Takes initiative in pursuing new assignments.May pursue new assignments and identify tasks.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of *** Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $66,500.00 - $123,500.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
