Part2 Pictures is looking for a swing shift assistant editor to jump on board a documentary series early October.

Applicant should be proficient in AVID and have experience working on a multi-part series. Duties will include processing (syncing, grouping) field footage, ScriptSync-ing, doing stringouts, laying in narration, exporting, and helping with online.

This person should be super organized, detail oriented, communicative, and a team player.

Most of the work can be done remotely, but there will be occasions of needing to work in our offices in Brooklyn. That said, your safety is paramount. We are a small office and have safety protocols in place to limit your exposure.

Rate is $1300/ week.

This unique position calls for a passionate video editor/content creator. Required Experience:

A successful candidate should have at least three years of experience working in a television newsroom as a video editor.
Ability to multitask, prioritize & manage tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced newsroom environment
This position requires a flexible work schedule, and you must be willing to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be knowledgeable in non-linear editing and have experience using Adobe Premiere
Must be proficient with basic video and audio principles.
Must be able to take direction and be a "great teammate" who is not afraid of an intense news environment.
