Responsibilities: The Assistant Editor will work with our post production team on a variety of content, including Good Mythical Morning, Good Mythical More, Mythical Kitchen, Rhett & Link Vlogs, short form originals and more.

The person in this role will be responsible for facilitating the post workflow of each edit through media ingest, project prep, edit, graphics, post sound mix, export, QC and upload
Work with Production Mixer to ensure all audio is recorded properly and allocated properly for the Post Sound Mixer
Manage media ingest and organization on servers
Organize, sort, and label footage in order to create episode stringout sequences
Work with the IT Manager to ensure media is properly backed up on servers and LTO tapes
Work with producers and writers to pull videos/stills needed for playback within episodes
Track music usage and licensing in order to create music cue sheets
Work with Line Producer and Editors to update post workflow documents and schedules
Export, QC, and deliver final files to Content Manager for upload
Supervise post production equipment and troubleshoot any technical problems encountered, working with the IT team as necessary
Source and create opportunities for efficiency in all areas of the post production process

Requirements:
2-3 years experience working in relevant post production positions
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and Media Encoder
In-depth understanding of the pre-production, production, and post-production processes
Experience in diverse formats: commercials, animation, scripted, variety, reality, documentary, photoshoots, digital, social media, music performance, music video

Job Description
Finance news brand is seeking an experienced video editor to edit engaging, informative and timely video features, recurring series episodes and in-depth interviews. The video editor will regularly work on segments ranging from eight to 10 minutes with opportunities to expand stories to 25 minutes for OTT platforms.

These originals will be expected to capture viewers' attention through their sharp perspective, approachable style, and clear relevance to the biggest investments and financial questions investors face. You will help spearhead execution across a range of programming formats.

You will work closely with reporters, studio, graphics, and more to elevate brand’s feature video stories. You will be expected to be a strong collaborator and execute an efficient video production process to ensure clean, final delivery. Responsibilities:

- Stay up-to-date on the workings of company systems including proprietary infrastructures, working with the post support team to source and acquire assets as necessary for projects.
