Busy Post Production studio is looking for an experienced assistant editor for a docufollow series. Tasks include organizing and ingesting footage, grouping and syncing footage with audio, and prepping sequences for edit. This position is for a swing shift and candidates could be working nights and weekends.

Our pace is fast and furious, so we're looking for experienced AEs who can work quickly and keep track of multiple tasks. Experience with Avid and a willingness to work in office full time are a must!

Once hired, you will submit timecards or invoices and be paid weekly.

Looking for an assistant editor that can help with organization of projects, Synchronizing Multicam Sequences, pulling selects, transcribing/subtitling and maybe even taking a whack at the rough cuts of various corporate videos. This is probably best for someone looking to get their feet wet and to learn the logistics of a project.

Projects will use blackmagic cloud proxy workflow. So there will no need to send hard drives or anything.

May also work on daily rate and project rates also.

- Must be proficient in Avid Media composer
- Media Management: Strong understanding of media ingestion, logging, transcoding, syncing audio and video, and organizing footage in digital asset management systems.
