On-Call Covid Testing Technician, TV Series

WORK ON LOCATION (IN PERSON) - SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO

--Approximate production dates commenced in early January 2023 through approximately June 19, 2023.
--Hours will be Variable and On-Call, with heavier work hours (up to 12 hours per day) possible.
--Work on Set Location as well as various assigned locations. Must be willing to work indoors or outdoors in all types of weather.
--Guaranteed 4 Hour Minimum Pay on all days called to work.

A Testing Technician is a trained healthcare professional (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.) who upholds COVID-19 protocols and guidelines on-set under the direction of the Covid Compliance Supervisor. The Testing Technician will be trained in Reel Health COVID response and medically based protocols. Testing Technicians will work closely with other members of the Reel Health Team and when so assigned, with the on-set Production and Security team members to ensure health safety protocols are followed.

Duties & Responsibilities:
-Learn and follow Reel Health Safety Protocols and tools designed to maintain on-set safety, including; maintaining zones and pods, sanitization guidelines and proper PPE application.
-Assist in COVID-19 testing of production cast, crew and Health Safety Team members.
-Provide screenings to employees, using Reel Health screening and assessments and non-contact infrared thermometers
-Follow HIPAA guidelines/regulations while handling confidential information discovered during screening
-Provide COVID-19 FAQ's, data and educational material as needed Safe-Guard and monitor set to ensure production staff are following preventative practices (proper hygiene, social distancing, etc.)
-Put on (don) and remove (doff) personal protective equipment (PPE) per company protocol
-Disseminate relevant client/studio policies and information given to us and as directed by the client.

Position Requirements:
-Must have strong English reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
-Must have strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
-Must have strong technology skills (navigate a cell phone, tablet and application)
-Must be able to learn Reel Health COVID-19 information technology & protocols.
-Must have reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement may be available in certain circumstances if/when using a personal vehicle).
-Must have a smartphone device able to accommodate the Reel Health App.

Physical Requirements
-May be exposed to infectious diseases and other occupational dangers.
-Requires long periods of standing and/or walking.
-Must be able to wear the required PPE for 12 hours or more per shift (face mask, eye protection, medical gloves, gown, safety vest, etc.)
-Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments and in different climate conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.)
-Education & Experience:
-Required - Must possess a minimum of any of the following certifications/qualifications: MA, CNA, EMT, Military Medical license/certification
-Preferred - Production experience working on a Television or Film set

The Job

WB Games seeks a Software Development Engineer in Test for the WB Games NY Studio.

As a Software Development Engineer for WB Games NY, you will be performing white box testing of plugins and other products written for Unreal Engine and other platforms to test and verify correct functionality. You will also be designing and implementing automated tests for products built with Unreal or other game engines to execute manually or as part of our build pipeline. You'll need to properly understand a game's internals, so a good proficiency with game development in general and Unreal or other game engines is required.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Integrate, build (compile), and interactively test plugins and other game engine components to verify correct functioning.
Document found bugs with clear and straightforward reproducible steps and identify other related issues.
Perform source-level debugging and/or assist other developers in debugging systems.
Understand code and architecture to identify aspects of programs suitable for automated testing.
Work with central tech and with game development teams to implement and deploy automated tests.
Maintain and monitor bugs throughout the development and release cycle, reporting on status and escalating as necessary.

Qualifications & Experience...

Very good C++ skills and at least three years of experience in C++ programming.
Solid experience with Unreal Engine is required; experience with other game engines (e.g. Unity) is a plus.
Experience with Perforce, Git or other version-control systems is required.
Experience with Te *** ity, Jenkins, or other automated build harness is required.
Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python, JavaScript, Lua, etc...) is required, Python preferred.
Experience using and interacting with a REST API, and other web-based technologies for testing against back-end services that we support.
Command of spoken and written English and good communication and interpersonal skills.
An ability to communicate bugs diplomatically, discussing bugs or other issues with a solution-oriented mindset.
Capable of working toward deadline pressure with a positive and constructive attitude.

The Nice to Haves

Experience with cross-platform development (PC, consoles, mobile) is a plus.
Enjoying video games and other hobbies is a plus!

Base pay is just one component of *** Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $85,050.00 - $157,950.00 salary per year. Collaborate effectively with a remote, multi-disciplinary team spanning different time zones.
Develop an in-depth understanding of the assigned Roku system, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership in problem triaging and prioritization.

YOU HAVE: (Qualifications, Required Skills & Experience )

5+ years of hands-on experience in Roku development as a technical individual contributor.
Proven expertise in BrightScript and Roku application development.
2+ years of experience in the video streaming space.
Proficiency in cloud-based development.
Strong understanding of Roku framework.
Mastery of Object-Oriented Programming concepts and design patterns.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
