Looking for a social first video editor/motion expert for long term contract job. This role will take pre-recorded content and assemble into innovative short form social videos for TikTok, Instagram, and YT Shorts. The ideal candidate will be a proficient editor/motion artist that likes to push the creative boundaries and experiment with new formats, styles, and esthetics. This person will need to be able to manage their own daily schedule but will have producer support to triage incoming work and set overall priorities over the duration of the contract. They will need to work within a defined brand system but again have the freedom to push the boundaries and try new things. Art director resources will be available for brand guidance when needed. Finally, this candidate will be in the know of current styles and trends across social media in general.

Requirements:
5+ years of editing and motion experience
Expert in creating social first content for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram
Killer reel showcasing previous work
Ability to work independently and manage their own time
Ability to innovate within a defined brand system
Ability for light travel for on-site support throughout the year
Previous experience working with or for a large tech corporation

Editor needed for a digital game show series.

Although distributed through YouTube, this series is formatted similarly to the production value of a television show. In other words, the edit lift is quite heavy compared to what you would think an "average" YouTube edit would be. These edits are comprised of several camera angles, up to nine microphones, and multiple scenes.

The editor needs to be comfortable building story, editing with comedic timing, and dialogue editing. 
The best candidate for this role would be an editor who has experience in editing game shows, reality shows, or quick-paced comedy shows with lots of angles and audio tracks to manage. 



Editor may work remotely but must adhere to standard Pacific Standard Time working hours.

Overview:

Condé Nast Entertainment is looking for video editors to cut Ukrainian-language digital content. Candidates must speak fluent Ukrainian and be able to translate and edit videos involving Ukrainian-speaking talent. CNE Video Editors bring compelling, culturally-impactful, entertaining, and diverse creative content to life every day. Candidates should be natural storytellers and creatives first, interested in a role that spans a wide array of projects and styles, and able to collaborate with many creative partners in Production and Programming. This position works closely with Directors, Producers, Post Production Supervisors, other post-production team members, and reports to the Supervising Editor.

Primary Responsibilities:

Edit a variety of complex digital video concepts across Condé Nast’s portfolio of brands, primarily for YouTube in both English and Korean
Collaborate with Directors and Producers to meet the creative and technical goals of each unique project
Able to quickly and independently cut to the essence of a story, and create compelling and entertaining narratives from diverse raw materials
Maintain active lines of communication with Post Production Supervisors, Directors, and Producers throughout the course of a project; be vocal when it comes to a project’s scheduling, creative, and technical needs, and flag concerns or delays promptly
Time management skills and flexibility are key to successfully stay on schedule in CNE’s fast-paced, high-volume post-production environment.
For any assigned project, complete motion graphics, color correction, sound design and mix, deliverables, and cue sheets
Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Fluency in Ukrainian required
Minimum 4 years editing experience, primarily in digital video content; past work in a fast-paced, high-volume studio, media company, or post facility environment preferred
Must be proficient in Adobe Premiere, with advanced capabilities with After Effects strongly preferred
Strong finishing skills; able to handle color correction, sound mix, motion graphics, and possess the capability to deliver high quality design and stylized content
Strong understanding of editing principles and current digital trends, with an ability to tell a cohesive story
Must have impeccable organizational and communication skills
Must be able to self-organize priorities to ensure that deadlines are met, adhering to best practices set forth by senior management
Ability to problem solve and work through issues and produce under the pressure of deadlines

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented editor to join our creative team. As a member of our post team you will play a crucial role in editing high-quality video content for our YouTube channel. This is an in office position so living in or being willing to relocate to Raleigh, North Carolina is a must.

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

· Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro to edit videos including cutting, trimming, adding transitions, general color correction and basic audio mixing.

· Help maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all video content

· Monitor video analytics if asked by manager.

· Stay up to date on YouTube trends and best practices to optimize video performance.

· Able to work within the often tight turnaround schedules for YouTube.

· Able to track briefs for videos with brand integrations to help make sure all mandatory beats are hit within the edit.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Editing, Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, or related field would be great but not mandatory.

· Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and other relevant editing software

· Previous experience Editing for YouTube is extremely important. We are open to those outside of YouTube but having this experience will mean you know the slight nuance that differs from traditional markets.

· Local to Raleigh North Carolina or willing to relocate to the area. (Must work in office M-F)

· General knowledge of sound libraries and other useful software that can be used to improve channel edits

· Strong communication skills and the ability to self-start while also being able to collaborate effectively within a team.

We are currently seeking a jack-of-all trades type editor/ studio staff person to join our team full time.

Because we are a small team, we need someone to assist in other areas as well, such as camera assisting when needed.

We need someone who:
- Has at least 5 years experience in working with Adobe Premiere Pro
- Can edit different types of content, such as interviews and social media sorts
- Has on set experience
- Has at least some camera experience
- Has drive and a good attitude
- Experience with motion graphics and sound design a plus

Pay is salaried for 8/hr days 5 days a week
