We are seeking a motivated Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the founder of Interloper Films: Ondi Timoner.

INTERLOPER FILMS​ is an international award-winning full-service production company. The company develops and produces original feature length documentaries and narrative films, non-fiction television series, cutting-edge web series and award-winning short films. Interloper Films's catalog of distinguished features includes: DIG! (2004), WE LIVE IN PUBLIC (2009), THE NATURE OF THE BEAST (1994), JOIN US (2007), COOL IT (2010) and BRAND: A SECOND COMING (2015), among others. JUNGLETOWN, their 10-hour nonfiction series for VICELAND about the building of “the world’s most sustainable town,” aired in 2017 to rave reviews. MAPPLETHORPE, the company’s first scripted feature film, premiered at the TriBeCa Film Festival in competition in 2018, taking home the 2nd Audience Award and was released in theaters in March 2019.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of administrative experience in the entertainment industry. An interest in unscripted/scripted development, production, and post-production highly preferred.

Immediate tasks will be more project related as we finish up a feature documentary. Managing receipts/Credit card statements, invoices, and supporting in final project deliverables. Candidate should be detailed-oriented and driven to work independently. Eventually - He/She will be responsible for managing all day to day aspects of Timoner’s personal and professional life. Setting appointments and meetings, updating calendars, booking travel, managing expenses, handling personal errands/requests as well as coordinating alongside the creative team as needed. The position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a critically-acclaimed writer/director/producer/editor in laid-back yet driven environment. Someone who loves multi-tasking and thrives on organizing at a fast pace will excel in this position.

Essential Responsibilities:

Create expense reports, manage receipts & credit card statements and regularly communicate with accounting team
Manage calendars, schedules and conference calls
Organize meetings and appointments
Coordinate all domestic and international travel
Provide support for projects across all disciplines within the company
Assist with making creative documents for internal use, such as development decks
Handle other miscellaneous duties, special events and projects assigned

Skills / Requirements:

A clear sense of time management and ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently; highly organized
Possess excellent follow through skills
Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
Knowledge of Quickbooks and bookkeeping experience
Ability to be proactive, resourceful, flexible and exhibit confidence under pressure
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines make decisions and change course of action quickly and anticipate needs of Timoner.
Excellent computer and technology skills
Mac & Windows: iCloud, iPhone, AppleTV, Macbook Pro, Ipad, Microsoft Word, Excel
Savviness in all forms of social media a plus
Proficiency with Photoshop, Premiere, Avid and DSLR cameras
Ability to simultaneously handle individual tasks while maintaining perspective on the bigger picture
Team player with positive/easy-going manner to handle varied personalities, responsibilities and assignments
Previous experience as an executive secretary, administrative assistant, or in other related fields
Maintain standards of strict confidentiality with respect to all matters both professional and personal

​​Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Film/Media, Communications, Business or related field.
Previous entertainment industry experience as an assistant preferred.

Rate: $130/8
