ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
*** Radio is looking for a part time board operator that has the knowledge to setup and troubleshoot mixing boards, microphones, electronic and mechanical components specific to the radio station, and computer software used for editing and broadcasting audio.

Must be technically skilled to operate console panel for airing programs, promos and commercials as scheduled and in compliance with Company and FCC broadcast guidelines.
Monitor lights on console panel to ascertain that components are operative, and that transmitter is ready to emit signal.
Observe indicators and adjusts controls to maintain constant sound modulation and ensure that transmitted signal is sharp and clear.
Assist with production duties, to include recording and editing of content and screening phone calls.
Follow all studio policies, to include management of commercials and content for accuracy, timely communication of issues, airing and logging of EAS tests, logging discrepancies, transmitter readings and compliance with company rules, policies and procedures regarding Payola, Plugola and co *** icts of interest.
Must be willing to work Weekends and Holidays.

Must have excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills and be computer literate with basic social *** experience.

Job Description

This is a freelance position with an estimated duration of up to 12-14 months to start, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

As aProduction Assistant, you areresponsible for assisting production personnel in all phases of sports production for weekly *** Sports properties, specifically Premier League.

Responsibilities:

Graphics and / or Highlight Production Assistant for Live studio production in Stamford
Handle some aspects of editing of sports production including with an editor, but not limited to, highlight packages, bumpers and teases, as well as shot selection and properly securing footage to be used in such segments
Assist in daily highlight operation (screening, logging, writing and edit guidance)
Newsfeed and social *** show-related monitoring
Securing video and audio footage to be used in highlight packages and features
Learn *** Sports digital archive system
Perform required sports research
Generate and distribute story and show ideas for all shows and platforms
Participation in all show production meetings
Support all phases of production for assigned shows

Qualifications

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $56,000 to $70,000 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs.
