Looking for a field producer (interviewer) for Monday Jan 24th in Hollywood Hills to interview two people, one person is a very well known actress and singer in her 70s. Must have a resume of interviews. It's a small crew, just our camera guy and you. Our field producer got covid so need someone to fill-in. Cameraman has been with us a long time and will light, lav and frame the interview. Need someone to interview the talent with a list of questions and get bites.

$250 for the day and will need to rapid test or show PCR negative.

Field Producer, ***

The Field Producer brainstorms and pitches ideas, researches topics and works closely with reporter(s) to advance stories, break news and produce segments both in studio and in the field.

What you'll do:

Working both independently and with reporters/anchors to produce original business news content, primarily for broadcast and additionally for digital and social.
Production responsibilities may include research, conducting interviews, writing and editing, field producing and overseeing editing.
Pitching story ideas and working on assigned stories developed by the editorial planning team.
Establishing and maintaining relationships with, and being knowledgeable of and current on companies in the universe of coverage.
Communicating clearly with reporter and field production crews to determine best coverage plan and live remote locations.
Maintaining all video/digital records, feed necessary and relevant video to bureau/headquarters, communicate to editors and/or desk producers how video should be cut/taken to air.

Your Role Accountabilities...

• Take an active role in selecting the stories of the day - come up with story ideas that reporters can turn in one day, create producer driven content to enhance our coverage of the big story and other stories that appear in the newscast.
• Anticipate problems and address them throughout the course of the shift, eliminate all factual/spelling/other errors that appear in the show. If a problem arises, address it im *** tely.
• Ability to resolve co *** ict.
• Bring creativity into every aspect of the newscast.
• Ability to perform under tight time deadlines
