The Resorts Creative Director supports Site Operations and Maintenance partners to ensure the balance of maintaining *** 's high standard of show quality and storytelling along with the needs of the business. Under the leadership of the Resorts Executive Creative Director, the Resorts Creative Director is directly responsible for the creative direction of expense and capital projects and is the front-line creative leader and partner for their assigned venue(s).
This is a Full-time role.
You Will:- Be responsible for the ideation, creative vision and maintenance of an attraction or show facility (restaurant, merchandise, etc.).
- Partner with creative portfolio executive or executive creative director to determine the creative direction of a given entity.
- Either build the vision or facilitate its creation through art direction and story development (treatments, story boards, visual models, sketches, concept art, traditional and computer rendering).
- Creatively move project forward through all phases of development from blue sky through production.
- Partner across all spectrums of development from working teams through senior executives.
- Serve as a creative "balancing point" when operational, financial, or marketing considerations may affect creative content and direction.
- Guide and encourage working teams through all phases of development.
You Will Have:- Experience in one or more artistic/design disciplines, i.e. architecture, interior design, concept design, theatrical/scenic design.
- Minimum five years of related experience in design, production, architecture, theatrical design or related field.
- Ability to communicate concepts using a variety of *** (story boards, sketches, traditional and computer rendering, traditional and computer-generated models).
- Core abilities in one or more artistic subject areas - design, architecture, story development, illustration, theatrical/scenic design.
- Current experience on computer-based art programs.
- Detailed knowledge of creative process and deliverables.
Preferred Education:- BA/BS in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Fine Arts, or related field preferred.
