Micro Budget project. PA for an eight day feature film shoot in Southern California.

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Production Assistant to join our team for a TV pilot filming for 2 weeks in the Chicago area. Filming is scheduled between the end of August through early September. The PA's will be needed for 8, 12-hour days of filming.

The ideal candidate will support producers with various tasks to ensure smooth operations during production.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily production tasks including running errands, distributing scripts, and handling production-related paperwork.
- Help with the logistics of set preparation, including unloading and loading equipment.
- Facilitate communication between the producers and other crew members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Support production supervisors in managing manufacturing processes and coordinating activities on set.
- Help wrangle and manage extras, as needed.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in film production or a related field are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Production Assistant or in a similar role.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret instructions from various departments.
- Ability to work long hours and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Team player.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with film production processes and terminology.
- Experience with production management software and tools.

Rate is $200 per day.

We are looking for a PA for a field shoot happening in the New Bedford/Martha's Vineyard area in 07/09 - 07/11.
