Seeking line producer for true crime recreation show starting its 8th season.

This show is very small - only about 15 crew members per day and between 2-4 actors. Line producer has a coordinator as well as a truck PA per day for assistance.

There is no AD on this show, LP and director work closely together to create shoot schedule. The crew has been working together for several years and have a good rhythm to keep the day moving.

General scope is fairly small - generally shoots are in homes/locations that match the source material as close as possible. There are no actor faces shown so shots are tight and figurative. Style focuses more on stylistic vignettes than full scenes. Entire production is MOS.

Brave New Films, a non-profit media organization that focuses on social justice documentaries and video, is seeking a co-producer/production manager for a short doc project currently in production. You will manage physical production of interviews featuring name talent and supervise some of post-production.

This will be a contracted freelance position with a part-time schedule over several weeks of production.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in collaboration with Director and Producer to execute the short doc concept.
Managing all aspects of pre-production and production of the film shoots, including sourcing locations, hiring crew and equipment, interfacing with talent and reps, call sheets, and being the on-set producer.
Handling all releases, permits, paperwork.
