An award-winning nationally syndicated Daytime Talk Show is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Line Producer. As the Line producer you will work closely with the EIC to manage and track all show related costs. As well as supervise a diverse production management team and oversee all day- to-day logistics and workflow. The Line Producer will partner with creatives and the production management team to create the production roadmap for each project. You must have equal passion for coordinating as well as collaborating with others. The candidate will have studio and remote filming production management experience and will be organized, motivated, flexible, and able to manage a high volume of work while still having awareness of the minute details of each project. They will think critically, have a professional presence, and understand how to navigate between multiple teams. This is a demanding and fast-paced environment that requires proactive, positive thinking. The candidate must exercise good judgment, show initiative and always act as a team player. They should be financially responsible, able to juggle multiple responsibilities and projects with a laser focus on organization/attention to detail, while also being flexible and capable of prioritizing shifting priorities and deadlines. The candidate should be able to advise team leads on calculated risk-taking.

Core Duties:
Oversee the day -to-day logistics of a daily live production.
Partner with creative departments, offer solutions that manage scope and maintain creative vision.
Collaborate with the audience team on show needs and audience logistics.
Assist with recruiting and hiring talent.
Work with the finance and accounting team on payroll, account payable, and cost reconciliation on projects and specific budget line items.
Collaborate with Tech Manager on the day -to- day technical production needs as well as remote projects as needed.
Have oversight on technical crew overtime and meal penalties.
Oversee and communicate daily production tape schedule(s) and have knowledge and insight of the union rules and policies that impact the daily schedule.
Provide risk assessment and anticipate potential hiccups in the schedule.
Manage multiple union crews and production departments ensuring production is running smoothly and on schedule.
Oversee production management staff, including production managers coordinators and PA’s.
Work with EIC and Health/Safety Manager to create and implement COVID and safety protocols.
Guide and support production managers, when needed, on a best-in-class approach to executing or streamlining creative requests that impact budget and schedule.

Requirements:
Experience working with guilds including SAG/AFTRA and DGA
Experience working in a union environment, knowledge of NABET, IATSE unions a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong communication and team building skills required.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Ability to work proactively and independently and manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
Experience in a live television production/control room environment.
Experience with schedule/budget creation.
Proven ability to deliver excellent work on tight deadlines.
Flexibility with hours as needed.
Must have the ability to lead with a positive attitude and encourage collaboration.
Ability to manage time and balance priorities amid the pressures of busy, deadline-driven production.
Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively.
