Seeking an experienced and versatile Line Producer to join our team for potential upcoming, non-scripted projects. This position would oversee all aspects of production, including scheduling, budgeting, hiring crew, securing locations, and managing day-to-day operations on set. Potential for travel for various periods of time - travel costs will be covered.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Producer in the reality TV industry, with a strong track record of successfully managing productions of various scales and durations.
- Thorough understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and production logistics.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with crew, talent, and producers efficiently and positively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Budget and Financial Management:
- Manage production budget, tracking expenses, and ensuring that the project stays within budget constraints.
- Work closely with the production accountant to monitor expenditures and address any financial issues promptly.
2. Scheduling and Planning:
- Overseeing the creation and maintenance of a detailed production schedule, coordinating all aspects of the shoot including locations, crew, talent etc.
- Identifying potential scheduling conflicts and proactively find solutions to ensure the production stays on track.
3. Crew Management:
- Recruit and hire a skilled production team, camera operators, sound technicians, and other essential crew members.
- Recruit any additional vendors that may be needed for specific productions including medic, security etc.
- Oversee day-to-day operations on set, ensuring that all crew members are working efficiently and adhering to safety protocols.
4. Location Management:
- Overseeing proper approvals and releases are being obtained and filed, and all specifications/rules of locations are being met by production team.
5. Logistics and Equipment:
- Oversee the logistics of transporting crew, equipment, and talent to various locations.
- Ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available and in good working condition.
6. Compliance and Legal:
- Work with the legal department to ensure that all vendor agreements and contracts are completed prior to starting work, and within budgetary guidelines.
7. Problem Solving:
- Quickly address any unexpected challenges or production issues that may arise, finding effective solutions to keep the project on track.
- Communicating any and all production-related issues to your direct report quickly and efficiently and completing any additional paperwork that may be needed in a timely manner.
8. Post-Production Support:
- Collaborate with post-production teams to ensure that footage is delivered on time and meets the project's requirements.
- Working with the post-production team to ensure all necessary deliverables are being completed and uploaded as needed.
*Knowledge navigating Cashet, Greenslate and MeSuite is a plus.
