Responsibilities:
Interview Footage Review: Watch down interview footage and assist in transcribing interviews. Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in transcriptions.
Assist Post Production Team: Support the post-production team in organizing and managing media assets, including logging footage and preparing transcripts for editing.
Computer Proficiency: Utilize computer skills to efficiently work with digital media files and transcription software. Experience with Google Docs is a plus.
Quality Control: Assist in reviewing edited content for quality control, ensuring that all technical specifications are met and final deliverables meet the company's standards.
Requirements:
Residency: Applicant must live in Connecticut or be willing to commute to our office in Stamford, CT.
Availability: Able to work Monday-Friday, 10 hours/day (50-hour week) from May 9th to June 21st.
Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or internship in post-production is preferred.
Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in using computers and digital media software. Experience with Google Docs is a plus.
Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and accuracy in handling media files and following post-production workflows.

Job Description
Finance news brand is seeking an experienced video editor to edit engaging, informative and timely video features, recurring series episodes and in-depth interviews. The video editor will regularly work on segments ranging from eight to 10 minutes with opportunities to expand stories to 25 minutes for OTT platforms.

You will work closely with reporters, studio, graphics, and more to elevate brand’s feature video stories. Responsibilities:
