Kaleidoscope Pictures is an award winning film and television production company located at the base of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains in historic downtown Provo, Utah.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented individual to oversee all creative aspects of Post Production on our popular sketch comedy series Studio C now in its 12th & 13th seasons.
You will be taking a key creative role in the show as you work directly with the Executive Producers, Post Supervisor, Coordinator, Editors and the rest of the post production team to ensure the successful completion and delivery of the show.
You will be responsible for
-Reporting directly to the Executive Producers to make sure the show’s vision is understood and executed.
-Working with the Producing team to design each episode and season.
-Contributing creative ideas that align with the Producing teams vision.
-Helping concept and execute interstitials, promo assets and title sequences as needed
-Creatively overseeing the activities associated with the edit, approval, vfx, color, music, sound mix and delivery of each episode.
-Work with all stakeholders to facilitate creative reviews/approvals and distilling notes into actionable feedback.
-Working directly with editors to incorporate feedback in an artistic and balanced manner.
-Working closely with the Post Production Supervisor and Coordinator to ensure successful delivery of a wide variety of deliverables.
-Ensuring that deliverables are completed on time and meet brand and legal requirements.
Requirements
-Must be available full time, work exclusively, and report to Kaleidoscope’s office in Provo each day.
-Experience in post-producing or leading post for a television show.
-Experience in comedy or sketch comedy.
-Willing and able to work in a creative and fun but also high performance, deadline-driven culture.
-Able to communicate promptly and effectively with executives, post management, operators and vendors.
-Able to prioritize and multitask the needs of multiple episodes at once and being efficient with reviews and schedules.
-Extensive knowledge of post production workflows, Adobe Creative Suite, and industry standard editorial software and practices.
-Awareness of budget and schedule and making sure Post stays within requirements.
-A positive attitude, strong passion, attention to detail and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced and fun work environment.
