Established LA post sound facility is looking for a Post Sound Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations in a very busy work environment. Candidates must keep the schedules for all of the staff, update post trackers, and track budgets and overall calendar for the business. Oversee client projects with the business owner to ensure assets are received and delivered on time and project needs are being met. Develop procedures with internal team to meet deadlines to help manage schedules and workflow. Facilitate communication and interaction between clients and post production team. Our office support team is very small and so it is imperative to be a team player with an all hands on deck approach.

Tasks & Activities:

-Work with Clients to gather information on upcoming projects
-Review and input post-production schedules and provide feedback/identify conflicts
-Schedule work and coordinate with the internal team
-Keep records of all requests, notes, and approvals
-Assist in scheduling talent and audio engineers in audio bay; supervise trafficking of assets to outside facilities as needed.
-Track, send, and reconcile client invoices
-Provide team with needed materials per project from respective clients.
-Answer any questions from the team regarding project specifics or needs.
-Track daily tasks lists with all employees to monitor short and long term projects.
-Handle bi-weekly staff payroll

Required Skills:

-Must have working knowledge of post-production/editorial workflow
-General knowledge of video/audio codecs
-Ability to establish and meet deadlines, developing clear priorities quickly
-Strong ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

I am looking for someone that is easy to work with, flexible, and very creative. You will be working with the director on this edit, and we want someone that has a lot of creativity. This documentary is about an internationally known artist and the making of his hit song and music video. Please include a cover letter as to why you think you're the right person for this job.

You must use Adobe Premiere Pro for the edit.

We're located in Los Angeles, CA and we'd like to find someone local. But we are open to someone doing the job remotely as well.
