Overview:
The Post Production Manager for the Creative Marketing team will support the team's operational needs by touching all facets of post production + design. This role is responsible for managing and ensuring the smooth transition of projects from ideation, development into post production and publishing. Communicating effectively with the internal CM team members and stakeholders along with numerous other internal and external vendors is vital to the success of this role. Individuals must be highly organized, able to juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, take meticulous notes and be able to both work hands-on and delegate under tight deadlines. This role reports to the Director of Post Production, Global Central Video.
**This is a contingent role for Q2 of 2024 with the possibility to extend further into 2024**
Primary Responsibilities:
Schedule, track and support both video and design campaigns ensuring projects are kept on track and on budget
Assist in the creation, review and cost tracking of project budgets
Aid in the creation of project timelines for high priority campaigns
Maintain the teams project records, update project documentation as needed
Provide clear and concise communication regarding project updates and needs across all departments and stakeholders
Proactively identify team needs and propose solutions to develop department workflow and processes
Coordinate the booking of internal and external resources to ensure proper resourcing for every aspect of a project
Onboard freelance vendors and other team members to CN’s post-production processes and workflows
Review content throughout the project process; providing quality-control feedback (audio, color, copy, design) through approvals and delivery
Ensure all projects have been delivered to spec and archived properly via our internal post workflow guidelines
Oversee the quality assurance, delivery and archival of final assets
Manage team user accounts, e.g. Frame.io, stock libraries, etc.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
At least 2-3 years of post production coordination experience is required; experience working on client-based projects at an agency or publisher is a big plus
Knowledge of post-production/design processes, workflows, and best practices, including scheduling and final deliverables
Must be willing to work in the office 3 days a week
Experience creating post-production schedules and budgets
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Media Encoder, PhotoShop, After Effects) required; experience as an editor or designer a plus
Experience using Airtable or a similar database system is a plus
MAM/Cloud storage knowledge a plus but not required
Previous experience purchasing and licensing stock imagery (i.e Getty)
Excellent and descriptive note-taking skills
Top-notch organizational skills, ability to take direction and give orders as needed
Work independently and with teams, able to decipher problems and create solutions
Self-driven and able to complete tasks with minimal guidance if necessary
Adept at determining priorities and able to hit deadlines; ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Productivity-focused and proven to be a quick problem solver, with the ability to overcome technical challenges as necessary
