We are looking for a Post Production Supervisor for a Spanish Language Food Competition series, starting approx July 25. This position is mostly remote, but may require occasionally going into our LA office. You will report to the Head of Post Production and Head of Current and work alongside the Showrunner, Producers, Editors, AE's, story team and liaise with network post contacts.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain healthy working relationships with creators, show runners, execs, editors, and out-of-house vendors in order to produce and deliver the finest quality product within the given time frame and budget of the project
Manage the post schedule
Track post related expenses and communicate anything with financial or schedule impact to the team in a timely manner
Schedule, manage and attend all Post Production-related meetings and sessions, including, but not limited to: reviews, mixes, graphics, color corrections, and QCs
Liaise with Post Story Teams to ensure deadlines are being kept and inform the proper channels of all changes and delays
Attend regular check-in meetings with Show Producers, communicating any concerns or issues that may cause the production to miss delivery deadlines or to fall outside of the agreed upon Post Production budget
Keep track and ensure all Legal/Network notes are addressed
Oversee and ensure the generation and delivery of on-air masters and all other delivery elements to the Network according to the deliverables list
Learn the network-specific tools used for cut sharing, file delivery, final delivery, and QC review and set due dates for notes from Executives and Producers
What You'll Need:
3-5 years experience as a Post Production Supervisor for a broadcast network, cable network or television production company
Experience with supervising production personnel and scheduling production facilities
Experience overseeing multiple assistant editors and projects that require heavy media sharing
Solid technical background in post-production.
Knowledge of remote edit workflow and ability to troubleshoot on Avid
Proficiency in the Google Suite apps
Well organized and detailed person with strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be even-keeled and work in a space of tight deadlines and simultaneously managing all on-air scheduling
