Key Responsibilities

Project Management:
• Collaborate with the Producer team to align on post-production deliverables and deadlines.
• Lias with Executives and Network to execute post-production schedule and resource allocation plan
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery of project components.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.

Team Management:
• Supervise AEs and overall project maintenance/delivery schedule
• Assign tasks, set priorities, and provide guidance to team members to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork among the post-production team.
• Coordinate with external vendors through post and online

Quality Control:
• Ensure the technical and creative quality of all post-production deliverables, including video/audio quality, color, visual effects, and overall aesthetic consistency.
• Review and provide feedback on graphics, visual effects, and other elements to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Implement quality control processes that confirm video quality prior to being sent to client for review.

Communication and Collaboration:
• Serve as a primary point of contact for all post-production-related inquiries and updates.
• Communicate project status, progress, and any potential issues to executives, prod co and network in a clear and timely manner.

Looking for an experienced New York-based post supervisor for a 3 part docu-series.
You will oversee all elements of post production not limited to creating and managing the post schedule, day-to-day, producer and network communication, cut distribution, and overseeing all post deliverables.
Must have strong organization and communication skills to interface between editors, coordinators, crew in the field, and company + network execs.
Experience with episodic television and archival workflow is needed.

- Communicates with DP about any specs to make sure we are good for image quality/coloring.

- During filming, communicates with DIT (who I am potentially hoping can also AE for us) for footage transfer drops done through MASV (or something similar) to jump start the editing process (tight timeline, and around 192 videos!!)

- Works with creative director and animation house to ensure the editing team has assets they need (e.g. title cards, lower thirds, any other custom gfx) before production begins

- Creates and manages the workflow of editing team/client delivery dates

- Ensures brand standards supplied by client

Finance news brand is seeking an experienced video editor to edit engaging, informative and timely video features, recurring series episodes and in-depth interviews. The video editor will regularly work on segments ranging from eight to 10 minutes with opportunities to expand stories to 25 minutes for OTT platforms.

These originals will be expected to capture viewers' attention through their sharp perspective, approachable style, and clear relevance to the biggest investments and financial questions investors face. You will help spearhead execution across a range of programming formats.

You will work closely with reporters, studio, graphics, and more to elevate brand’s feature video stories. You will be expected to be a strong collaborator and execute an efficient video production process to ensure clean, final delivery. Attention to detail, clear communication and being mindful of deadlines are a must. Strong candidates will be comfortable balancing a variety of projects and deadlines while working with different producers.

Responsibilities:
- Edit original features using Adobe Premiere, for audiences across our daily live distribution onsite and off, YouTube, and major social platforms.
- Help conceptualize, manage and execute visually dynamic, original edits in a deadline-driven environment.
- Stay up-to-date on the workings of company systems including proprietary infrastructures, working with the post support team to source and acquire assets as necessary for projects.
- Communicate in an appropriate and timely manner to relay issues and concerns about individual edits, technical issues and deadlines.
- Regularly update media and project tracking documents as necessary.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day issues with the IT team and post management.

Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience editing narrative features for onsite and OTT.
- An exceptional storyteller with a proven track record of editing high-quality, original field production with the audience and platform in mind.
- Proficient with Adobe Premiere.
- Must be experienced working with graphic templates and MGRTS within premiere. AfterEffects experience preferred.
- Comfortable sourcing pictures, video, soundbite from subscriptions services, including AP, Reuters, Getty, etc.
- Editor must thrive under deadline pressure and be able to juggle multiple tasks and assignments.
- Clear communicator, both written and verbal.
- Be able to work within and conform to established organizational systems and work/troubleshoot in team environments.
