PRODUCTION ACCOUNTANT NEEDED FOR NON-UNION DOCU-SERIES (BOSTON) MASSACHUSETTS

Immediate need for a very strong production accountant to be a one person team for 8 episode docuseries currently in production. This is a minimum 39 week non-union gig in Boston, MA. This position will: wrangle paperwork, receipts, process non-union payroll, run cost reports, manage all admin responsibilities (AP, PR, Cashet Cards, PC, etc.) and be responsible for all document scanning/uploading to scenechronize.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 5 years Production Accounting experience as a Lead Accountant or very strong 1st Assistant Accountant with Network and/or Studio level
experience.

* Must have rock solid EP GV, MMB, Cashet, Scenechronize and Excel experience.

* Must have payroll experience and a clear understanding of.

The Production Finance Analyst is responsible for the handling of complex production finance work for specific project(s), which requires an understanding of accounting principles. What You'll Do

Strategically partner with Executive Producers and VFX Producers in managing multi-currency budgets for multiple projects ranging from $1m to $100m. This likely includes partnering with financial analysts in other ILM *** to meet reporting deadlines and financial targets.

Shares knowledge with other members of the team

Prepares and reports scenario planning and cost projections, including estimating various regional tax incentives.

Provides guidance on accounting matters to Production Management

Responsible for accurate month end financial reporting, project forecasts to be included in the consolidated ILM Forecasts and Plan, and maintaining records for audit and variance explanation.

Prepares and presents quarterly project status presentations for Executive management and show key creatives.

Prepares routine weekly and ad hoc financial reporting to Exec Producers, Producers, and Executives.

Experience with enterprise information systems, (SAP) a strong plus and preferred
High Integrity team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to work well with others and promote positive working relationships across the organization
Motivated by challenging, high-energy, flexible environment.
Ability to work under conditions of pressure and adjust to urgent and changing situations
ACCA, CIMA or PIBR qualification is considered as a strong advantage (completed or in progress)
Experience of multi-site and multi-currency reporting
Experience navigating a matrix organization
Strong written reporting skills and experience
