We are jumping into production an upcoming TLC docu/reality series filming in the NYC area and looking for a strong Production Coordinator to join the team.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate has a background in production office work and experience with managing PAs, tracking costs, booking cars/hotels, placing orders, and more.
The Coordinator will be in the field on shoot days (which would include travel).
Office / prep work is hybrid but will largely be remote work.
The Coordinator will be expected to report to set, help with orders/runs as needed, and work from home during office hours on non-shoot days. There will be a mix of weekend and weekday filming days.
Coordinator will report to the Production Manager and work in tandem with them and the Line Producer.
Qualifications:
1-3 years as a Production Coordinator - documentary and/or reality a plus.
Looking for someone with excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational and time management skills that are presented with a kind demeanor
Ability to work independently and take initiative
This position would not be ideal for a first time Coordinator.
The project will involve 2 cameras filming in a home setting, and some additional verité style shooting.
MUST be local to NYC and willing to travel / overnight in the Long Island, Connecticut, and Vermont areas (travel accommodations and per diem provided by Production).
Budgeted rate is $1600/week with flexibility commensurate with experience.
