- Job Requirements: Must be local to location (or willing to work as a local).
We are in search of a couple of experienced field coordinators, who have experience traveling with a show. This is for a new full season show, on a major network, that will entail prepping and office work locally in LA, as well as traveling to a number of locations for the actual shoots. TRAVEL EXPERIENCE IS A MUST.
This project is a show that will be very fast moving at times, and will require you to be the lead production representative on site, and to be the go-to person in the field. We will be working to build a strong production team, with leaders both in the offices in LA, and out in the field with the field units.
Duties can include, but are not necessarily limited to:
- checking in gear to airport
- receiving gear after a flight
- making sure field crew all gets checked into field hotel upon arrival to new locations
- organization and reconciliation of all your field receipts . (meals, taxis, luggage, etc)
- strong communication with the management team back home in LA
- comfort with communicating with all in-field crew and producers, and being a production pillar. It's ok to not have all the answers, and to communicate with management when you have questions. But as the in-field representative of production, you should be calm under fire, and comfortable problem solving
- comfort working with, and potentially hiring local PAs
Again, it cannot be stated enough that TRAVEL EXPERIENCE IS A MUST. I know everyone has to start somewhere, but this unfortunately is not the show for that. This show will be fast once we get going, and everyone will need to be at the top of their game to ensure a smooth production. To be clear, this looks to a be a fun project, with a quality company; this is just a show that will require a strong production team.
We will be interviewing all potential candidates at our offices in LA. If we feel you're potentially a correct fit for the position, then we will be happy to discuss in more detail the content and finer details of the show, as we set something up.
