The Digital Production Operations Coordinator will help support the Digital Production Operations Sr. Manager & team, who are responsible for managing production schedules and workflows, as well as assigning and tracking resources and projects across ViacomCBS brands. The Production Coordinator will use their strong organizational skills to help track stages, talent, shoots, and edit requests for the MTV Entertainment Group & BET Digital teams. They are comfortable multi-tasking, working on multiple projects simultaneously, and learning on the job.

Primary Responsibilities
• Generate and distribute the daily production & post schedule for various brands supported, and maintain said schedules for both daily work and tentpole events
• Assist Sr. Manager with post delivery schedules and ensuring producers/editors for the various teams hit those deadlines
• Work with production management teams to coordinate shoots and ingest of footage for post, including securing internal shoot spaces, security passes, card/drive handoffs, etc.
• Program MTV News linear hits on mtvU, as well as assist with delivering linear hits to the NOC for air
• Track all pitches from various teams for talent/artist opportunities and share necessary feedback to talent/music teams
• Maintain vacation calendars for various teams, which helps inform when backfill is necessary
• Point person for all caption needs for the MTV News & Logo teams

Requirements
• Minimum of 2-4 years of production experience, regularly interacting with both internal and external production partners
• Strong understanding of production & post-production process
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple, time sensitive projects simultaneously
• Overall great attitude, willingness to work as a team player, and flexible in order to adapt to an ever-changing production and post landscape
• This role will be a combination of remote work + in person

All travel expenses covered + per diem for shoots outside of LA. Must work as a local for LA shoots. Will depart for South and East coast approx June 1 and return approx July 3.

Smaller crew show based around houses and interesting items (think American Pickers) where we will likely be working hard and fast while on the road with some prep time in between episodes. One or two weeks of LA prep, two weeks of LA shoots, and then we'll be on the road to other cities. You're jumping in midstream for someone we had who was wonderful but had to leave our lovely band of merry travelers.

This show needs a PC that is borderline spiritual in their commitment to organization and someone that can communicate efficiently and problem solve on-the-fly. Accounting excellence and spreadsheet detail oriented a must. Love it if you also have a sense of humor, but I suppose that one is optional. Your PM and LP have been doing this a long time and tend to try to make this work life something we enjoy and to hire people that work together well and are generally affable.

Job Description

PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of 6-12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

As a Production Coordiantor, you are an integral part of the GOLF Operations team reporting to the VP, Golf Operations. You are responsible for supporting the production coordination needs of the assigned broadcast for remote GOLF events. In addition, as needed, you are expected to interface and collaborate with colleagues working in the Studio to help facilitate all aspects of event logistics.

Responsibilities:

Support Production and Operations personnel during every phase of productionboth remotely and in studio
Occasional oversight of daily hire personnel for Production/Timecard Submission
Ability to navigate internal databases and documents regarding broadcast schedules, crewing and personnel
Assist in reconciling the remote event's budget in partnership with the onsite Production Manager
Responsible for all aspects of travel logistics for Talent, Production and Crew (Air, Hotel, Ground Transportation)
