Established production company looking for a strong production coordinator to join a fast-paced production. This person should be able to take initiative, have an understanding of tech, adapt to changing situations, create call sheets, reconcile purchases, log info related to remote interviews and other things to support the production.

Overview & Responsibilities
– Work closely with the PM to ensure all aspects of production are handled for each interview shoot day
– Coordinating experience in film/TV production
– Capable of balancing multiple tasks simultaneously, with a strong emphasis on organization and attention to detail
– Able to work easily with a variety of personalities in roles from director to production assistant
– Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-based, constantly evolving environment while remaining organized and detail-oriented
– Consistent track record of displaying leadership, strong interpersonal, communication skills and problem-solving
– Experience in field production and willing to go on set for local shoots is necessary (in-frequent)
– Documentary/Docuseries experience
– Understands how to schedule Zoom meetings and is able to problem-solve any issues that might come up
– Reconciling credit card charges, processing reimbursements & check requests
– Collecting the necessary documentation for paying talent and submitting invoices for payment
– Sending start work through the payroll system and collecting timecards for payroll
– Creating spreadsheets and documents for better organization and tracking
– Keeping a log of all the shot interviews, coordinating logistics of drive/media shipments and communicating with crew on set to ensure audio is uploaded for transcription

New show for Discovery that has filmed three episodes already around Los Angeles, will film two more, and then continue on across the U.S. until approx July 3. All travel expenses covered + per diem for shoots outside of LA. Must work as a local for LA shoots. Will depart for South and East coast approx June 1 and return approx July 3.

Smaller crew show based around houses and interesting items (think American Pickers) where we will likely be working hard and fast while on the road with some prep time in between episodes. One or two weeks of LA prep, two weeks of LA shoots, and then we'll be on the road to other cities. You're jumping in midstream for someone we had who was wonderful but had to leave our lovely band of merry travelers.

This show needs a PC that is borderline spiritual in their commitment to organization and someone that can communicate efficiently and problem solve on-the-fly. Accounting excellence and spreadsheet detail oriented a must. Love it if you also have a sense of humor, but I suppose that one is optional. Your PM and LP have been doing this a long time and tend to try to make this work life something we enjoy and to hire people that work together well and are generally affable.

Job Description

PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated duration of 6-12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

As a Production Coordiantor, you are an integral part of the GOLF Operations team reporting to the VP, Golf Operations. You are responsible for supporting the production coordination needs of the assigned broadcast for remote GOLF events. In addition, as needed, you are expected to interface and collaborate with colleagues working in the Studio to help facilitate all aspects of event logistics.

Responsibilities:

Support Production and Operations personnel during every phase of productionboth remotely and in studio
Occasional oversight of daily hire personnel for Production/Timecard Submission
