A leading non-scripted production company is looking for a seasoned Production Manager with strong management and leadership skills to work in the field for a hit long-running reality series.

Duties include managing production staff, occasionally traveling with crew to different locations, help track & manage costs, negotiating with vendors, pulling permits, and creating call sheets and production reports. Some shoot days will be overnight.

Ideal candidate will work well in a team environment and won't be afraid to roll up their sleeves. This person is detail-oriented with all aspects of production from prep through shooting/wrap - paperwork and managing location skills are equally important. Candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be a proactive and positive thinker, and be able to exercise good judgment and initiative. A great attitude is a MUST.

Job Description

The Production Manager for the Production & Operations department provides essential support on development and series 3rd party projects of various scales across the *** U portfolio including *** , *** , USA, Oxygen, Bravo, E! and SyFy. For each project, this individual will work closely with the Production & Operations Series Leads on driving the process forward from Pre-Production and Production through Post Production and Delivery.

Responsibilities:

Communicates directly with 3rd Party Production Companies to explain expectations with regard to pre-production, production, post production and delivery.
To understand and be able to communicate Network technical delivery specifications as well as make sure the 3rd party production companies have all insurance, health & safety, and production policies in place.
Act as liaison *** ween 3rd party production companies and all internal Network departments including legal, marketing, the broadcast facility as well as health and safety.
Review and stay on top of production and post production schedules for multiple projects
Review and approve pilot and series wrap bibles, ensuring that all materials are received and accurate
Ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and on-time and report any issues to senior management
Observe all department and company guidelines

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
2+ years of Production Management experience required (Network experienced preferred)
