Description
Video company in Philadelphia seeking Production Manager to organize and oversee pre-production and production on a wide variety of video projects. Must have a strong technical and organizational background, as well as clear, direct, and diplomatic communication skills. This position will act as the main point of contact for both clients and the production team, shepherding projects through the process and ensuring that tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to clients’ satisfaction. Responsibilities
Oversee production of projects from initial inquiry through shoot day(s)
Occasionally lead shoots as Producer/Director
Coordinate with Creative Director, Post-Production Manager, in-house team, and freelance staff to plan each project’s timeline and workflow
Communicate with clients, managing deadlines/expectations and facilitating pre-production and production logistics
Respond to inquiries and determine project scopes and budgets
Draft and send project proposals and contracts
Work with creative team and clients to create production schedules, scripts, storyboards, and prep materials
Assign crew to shoot days and negotiate rates with freelance staff
Allocate equipment and other resources for shoots; rent additional equipment if needed
Sync with Post-Production Manager to ensure smooth hand-off of shoot material and transition from production to post-production
Provide guidance and direction to editors and post-production staff as needed
Seek out, interview, and hire new production staff and freelancers
Record and track all information about projects and inquiries

Your New Role...
*** is the world's most essential and engaging source of video and digital news, and we're embarking on a crucial mission to invent the next generation of news and information experiences to inform, engage, and empower the world.We have a unique ability to marry content, design, product, and technology to spark connection, fulfill utility, and build community. As a Technical Production Manager, you are the eyes, ears and heart of a TV production! You are the backbone of production, coordinating every detail in *** 's live control rooms.

This is a project-based position through January 31, 2025.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Working with editorial & production to book *** and live locations
Roll satellite trucks for field production for live air
Facilitating technical & logistical traffic to support live news shows
Safeguard *** air ensuring that feeds meet *** quality standards
Working with show directors to set-up look of live shots
Assigning, establishing and coordinating IFB and PL lines in the live control room
Being responsible for managing & maintaining control room intercom show files and incoming router assignments
Supporting editorial & production staff on use of control room technology

Qualifications & Experience...

You've worked in live TV production for 5 years
Experience in television news production is required.
Must have a strong command of news programming and be a voracious consumer of news and video content in its many forms.
An ideal candidate must also have superior editorial judgment.
You're a news junkie
You have technical know-how and strong communications skills
An ability to work in a high pressure, 24/7 news environment
You have a strong working knowledge of AZ Edit, Evertz multi-viewers and iNews
An undergraduate degree or relevant experience with lines, satellites and technical facilities

Ring of Honor Wrestling (ROH) has a new and exciting opportunity for a Production Manager. In this role, your main goal will be to provide live and post support to the ROH Director of Production for all ROH live events and post production projects, including but not limited to TV, Marketing, Promotions, and social and special projects.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist the director of production and producers as directed
Work with the director of production and crewing manager to determine and book live crew and travel
Coordinate and maintain live production schedules and calendars
Coordinate rentals and deliver all necessary equipment to complete live even productions
Provide quality control for all live events
Maintain live event equipment and ensure that all hardware and software are up to date

Job Skills and Requirements:

Experience in managing crew, live events, and post edit processes
Familiarity with camera and streaming equipment, as well as generators, boom lifts, and general staging assets
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate others
Strong communication skills
The ability to travel with live event shows
The flexibility to work varying shifts

Experience:

At least 3 years of managerial experience with live events and post editing
Knowledge of and experience using AVID Interplay and Masstech archiving systems
