Be Electric Studios is a soundstage and lighting/grip equipment rental company with 10 soundstages located in Bushwick, Brooklyn. We provide shooting space & equipment to film, TV and commercial productions, and work with all the top production companies, agencies, brands and talent in NYC, LA and beyond.

We are seeking evening studio technician. The chosen candidates will be working directly under our Evening Floor Manager. The chosen candidates will be working to ensure that the studios and equipment are functional and well-maintained & as well as filling our client’s equipment orders.

We are looking for candidates with strong interest/experience in lighting/grip/film/photography equipment.
Job requirements:

- Willing to work weekends and nights (4:30PM - 1:00AM or later)
- Valid drivers license is a MUST. Experience driving box trucks & sprinter vans is a plus.
- Highly motivated, strong ability to multi-task and be able to flourish in stressful situations
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and keep to a tight logistic schedule
- Ability to foster a cooperative work environment

Job Description

The photo studio tech is responsible for supporting all photo studio and lab shoots across all Dotdash *** brands. About your contributions:

Support all photo studio and lab shoots taking place.
Maintain physical presence in the EQ room.
Keep the EQ room organized.
Maintain all Studio kitchens neat and organized.
Support Staff photographers when needed and available.
Keep track of equipment coming in and out of the Eq room.
Be able to troubleshoot any issues with any of our computers and photo gear.
Create Equipment lists for all photo studio shoots.
Be able to cover productions after our hours of operation.

About you:

1 to 2 years of experience in a photo studio and/or studio environment.
Proficient in all modern camera systems (specifically canon) & lighting equipment.
Proficient in Adobe suite, CaptureOne and Google Suite.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work across teams with a positive, solutions oriented mindset.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced, iterative, deadline driven environment.
Be able to stand for long periods of time and lift upwards of 50 lbs.

Pay Range
Hourly: $24.00 - $31.00

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Job Description

MS *** is looking for an exceptional Graphics Production Assistant for Deadline: White House.

This position is represented by the Writers Guild of America East.

Responsibilities:

Order and coordinate all graphic elements for air.
Oversee the airing of all graphic elements in control room during live program.
Work closely with producers to research, select and locate required footage for broadcast.
Print scripts for anchors and build scrolling crawl daily and maintain with continual updates and breaking news.
Assist in compiling research for anchors, maintaining on-air updates during live program.
Gather information on breaking stories for anchors to relay on air.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

At least one year of news production experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Desired Qualifications:

Excellent knowledge of politics, history and current events.
Must have the ability to work under deadline pressure.
Knowledge of Avid/Interplay and iNews preferred.
