Work closely with *** East Coast Programming, Production, Marketing, *** Relations, and Legal Executives to ensure that all workflows, budgets, schedules, *** assets and program elements are executed and delivered in a timely and technically accurate manner within budget and on schedule.
Oversee multiple projects at various phases simultaneously. Will ensure that show pertinent information such as schedules, workflows, contacts, and technical specifications are tracked and when appropriate disseminated to relevant departments including marketing, *** relations, QC, content enhancements, awards, and archive.
Collaborate directly with production and vendors to plan the best post-production workflow (pre-production through archive) to achieve the creative vision, including staffing/crew, post facilities and vendors, technical specifications, proper finishing requirements, and schedules.
Effectively manage and trouble shoot technical complications that may arise throughout the production/post-production process; ensure adherence to technical specifications while remaining on time and within budget.
Thoroughly review post-production budgets for Production Executives for veracity and completeness.
Distribute and maintain show specific Delivery Requirement documents which dictate deliverables for the duration of each project.
Supervise the creation of music and effects mixes for our foreign language department and DCPs used for premieres, events, festivals, and awards.
Grow and maintain relationships with key post-production talent and vendors.

Qualifications and Experience...

5 - 8 years post-production experience.
Must be able to consult on issues regarding camera selection, file naming protocols, editorial systems, workflow, final delivery and archive. Knowledge of codec and editorial workflows and camera recording systems a plus.
Must be able to communicate in technical terms with vendors and post-production staff, including but not limited to post supervisors, mixers, editors, and producers, while also being able to explain technical information in more layman terms.
Experience or knowledge of color correcting, working in a color managed workflow and UHD/HDR/ATMOS deliverables.
Must understand how to present themselves in a calm, friendly, professional manner and be able to handle stressful and delicate situations.
Must be detail-oriented and be able to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and cope with ever-changing post-production schedules, workflows, and delivery deadlines.
Familiarity with Scenechronize, *** SIlo, AirTable, Smartsheet and PIX is beneficial.

The Role

The Head of Post Production Management will build and lead the post production team for the Korean owned & licensed slate. Minimum 3 years sales or marketing experience

Eligibility Requirements

Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
Must have the ability to work any of a 24 x 7 shift
Must be willing to work at the station in West Hartford, CT

Must be 18 years or older.
Must be covered by Solutions, *** U's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week

Desired Characteristics

Minimum 3 years marketing or agency experience
Minimum 3 years working in the television or entertainment space
Experience in commercial and event production a plus
Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Photoshop
Exceptional communication skills
Creative and strategic thinker
Demonstrated leadership and internal negotiation skills
Extremely strong writing and deck creation skills
Proven ability to translate marketers' needs into tangible business objectives and revenue producing solutions

Familiarity with broadcast/digital research, advertising/ *** , production, promotions, sweepstakes construction/fulfillment
