This job is fully remote via Jump Desktop, therefore hi-speed home internet required. This is a 5 week job, with the possibility of a few more weeks beyond that. - Must be proficient in Avid Media composer
- Media Management: Strong understanding of media ingestion, logging, transcoding, syncing audio and video, and organizing footage in digital asset management systems.

- Knowledge of After Effects (most likely will be editing text templates)

- Install Fonts on editors' machines
- Export backup daily edits
- Backup final masters

I am in need of an editor who cuts on Avid to edit a low budget suspenseful Sci fi feature film. Someone with experience and has experience with special effects

Looking for a social first video editor/motion expert for long term contract job. This role will take pre-recorded content and assemble into innovative short form social videos for TikTok, Instagram, and YT Shorts. The ideal candidate will be a proficient editor/motion artist that likes to push the creative boundaries and experiment with new formats, styles, and esthetics. This person will need to be able to manage their own daily schedule but will have producer support to triage incoming work and set overall priorities over the duration of the contract. They will need to work within a defined brand system but again have the freedom to push the boundaries and try new things. Art director resources will be available for brand guidance when needed. Finally, this candidate will be in the know of current styles and trends across social media in general.

Requirements:
5+ years of editing and motion experience
Expert in creating social first content for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram
Killer reel showcasing previous work
Ability to work independently and manage their own time
Ability to innovate within a defined brand system
Ability for light travel for on-site support throughout the year
Previous experience working with or for a large tech corporation

Responsibilities
Use Adobe Premiere to craft engaging short form videos with tight turnaround times
Create motion graphics using After Effects and Essential Graphics from templates (and from scratch if needed), including lower thirds, full-screen text, custom image layouts, and more
Revise videos after receiving internal and client feedback
Finish projects with music, color correction, and sound mixing
Keep projects meticulously organized and labeled properly

Qualifications
Fluent in Premiere, After Effects, Frame.io, Dropbox
Strong passion for film and TV, music, pop culture, internet trends, and social media
Ability to work creatively under quick turnaround times
Ability to prioritize deadlines and work on multiple projects at once
Ability to problem solve and find solutions to creative challenges

Requirements:
Minimum 4 years professional experience as a video editor with demonstrated ability to create end-to-end original digital video content that is adaptable to multiple social and digital video platforms.
Minimum 3 years professional experience audio mixing, sound design, and color correction.

Candidate must have a strong understanding of character, stakes, action and tension, along with the ability to tell a compelling story.
