JOB OVERVIEW
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst, Compensation with the *** Entertainment Television Compensation team! This role will have the opportunity to be part of a team that manages both broad-based and executive compensation for a dynamic business focused on creating compelling, cutting-edge television content.
The Senior Analyst provides compensation guidance to assigned internal clients and collaborates with HR partners in the planning, development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs that support the company's business strategy. The role will require strong client management skills and collaboration with multiple HR teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with Compensation leadership, HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition as the Compensation Partner for assigned client group(s).
- Provide guidance and pay recommendations for employees at all levels.
- Educate HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and business leaders for respective client groups on compensation philosophy, programs and processes.
- Participate in the implementation and management of Annual Compensation Planning cycle for client groups.
- Manage the submission of various salary surveys.
- Create and maintain job families, grade profiles, salary structures and hiring ranges.
- Conduct ad hoc compensation analyses and projects.
KEY S****S AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong understanding of compensation program practices and trends.
- Demonstrated consulting skills and experience in supporting the day-to-day compensation needs of a large, varied client group.
- Ability to make independent decisions and recommendations based on compensation principles and philosophy.
- Ability to set priorities and manage multiple assignments and client groups.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a flexible, often ambiguous environment.
- Strong written, verbal, and graphic communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to varying audiences.
- Exceptional quantitative skills with a commitment to accuracy and details.
- Adept at conducting FLSA reviews.
- Strong sense of teamwork.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years progressively responsible experience in Compensation with a large corporate employer or leading consulting firm.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or similar discipline.
- Advanced MS Excel skills required.
- Proven ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with HR systems (Workday/SuccessFactors/SAP)
- Experience with advanced database management systems such as MS Access and/or data visualization tools such as Tableau.
The hiring range for this position in California is $111,900.00 to $136,700.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
