ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

*** Universal has an opening for a Facilities Manager for the Rock Center Ops - Facilities team under the Operations and Technology division of *** Universal. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team that delivers best in class services and experiences to clients and guests at our many locations. The position reports to the Sr. Manager, Facilities in *** Universal's Local News Operations and is required to be on-site full-time to support the facilities operations for *** Universal's DC Bureau at 400 North Capitol St NE. This position will partner closely with the Sr. Facilities Manager and VP's across the Rock Center Operations - Facilities team to ensure operational oversight is consistent with our facilities standards.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Facilities Manager will oversee the overall facilities management, supporting production and administration. This position will have direct oversight of *** Universal's DC Bureau at 400 North Capitol St NE encompassing approximately 90K square feet and provide additional support of *** U's owned television station facility at 4001 Nebraska Avenue encompassing approximately 200K square feet of production, technical, and commercial office space. They will ensure the integrity and operation of the facilities critical infrastructure systems which are *** to our 24/7/365 operational reliability, where the goal is a 99.999% on-air performance. This position will oversee the physical building operations, inspections, maintenance and long-term strategy planning of capital projects. Additional responsibilities include, on site safety programs and related activities to maintain a best in class working environment for all employees and guests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Achieve 100% uptime of site critical systems and equipment which include but are not limited to: Power/UPS, Back-up generator, Fuel supply, HVAC (Heating Ventilation, Air Conditioning), BMS, Plumbing/Water supply, Fire life safety systems and equipment.
Lead the local EHS program and ensure that all emergency systems are tested regularly, inspected and in compliance with local and State laws.
Schedule and oversee facility preventative maintenance, testing, and operations programs.
Coordinate all OSHA requirements, submissions, and postings.
Manage the EPA inventory (hazardous chemicals) including submission of proper documentation.
Responsible for reporting on operating metrics and status updates with management to identify trends and/or operating issues, as well as efficiency opportunities.

Respond promptly to facility issues and requests reported by staff and/or clients.

We are seeking an experienced Post Production professional to help manage both internal and third party productions, inclusive of a wide range of LIVE programming such as large tent pole variety events, award shows, comedy formats, sports, unscripted, and more. This role will serve as a network touch point ensuring our external producing partners are effectively onboarded, supported, and assessed for our post production workflows. Responsibilities include supporting the Post Production leads, establishing and curating vendor & staff/crew relations, managing document distribution & communication flow, liaising with internal cross-functional teams, and supporting/suggesting best practices from pre production through delivery while working with production companies. The Role

A successful candidate will be passionate and deeply knowledgeable about post production planning, management, logistics and have LIVE or live to tape post production experience on programming that has aired or streamed on major platforms, such as networks or large scale streaming platforms. They will be self-motivated, flexible, thorough, and capable of juggling multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization, communication, and unwavering attention to detail at all times. A priority to learn is key, as the LIVE slate is ever changing and requires the education of new technologies and practices within production and post production.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Support the post partners through various processes during the setup and execution of the project such as guidance on vendors, disseminating information to the studio, and uploading deliverable materials
Liaise with the post production vendors to ensure they are on-boarded and trained to lean on our various tools and *** workflows (e.g tools for cut reviews, delivery of AV deliverables)
Audit completion/delivery of post production materials during pre, production, and wrap
Gather, track and enter various production and post production related data among multiple platforms
Build agendas, participate in or lead tech kick-offs and ongoing production/post production meetings for all LIVE productions
Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Publicity, Photo/AV Studio, Safety, Sustainability, and Events regarding on-location activities taking place during a LIVE broadcast
Collaborate effectively with internal operations & technical teams as well as other production associate managers to streamline workflows across all apps and content teams
Assist with identification and curation of experienced, high quality post production staff and crew
Participate in *** a testing proprietary apps while offering constructive feedback about the end user experience
Any other duties as necessary to support the productions and the LIVE department

Qualifications:

5+ years experience working in post production management at a network, production company, or vendor. The ideal candidate also has LIVE post production experience with programming that has aired or streamed on a major platform such as networks or large scale streaming platforms. Candidates will need to be at least a Post Production Supervisor level equivalent outside of *** .
Ability to handle a fast paced and high performance environment and a high volume of projects and courage to take educated risks while thinking outside the box while always responding in a timely manner

We are looking for an engineering manager who is passionate about solving complex engineering challenges by coaching, leading, and mentoring a team of engineers. This position will oversee a critical backend team responsible for managing shared user session context across front-end and backend services. Our services deliver tailored context according to specified policy engine, which can be adjusted per product per market. Roles & Responsibilities

You will lead a dedicated team to design and craft reusable and scalable platforms for different products in WBD.The team is currently based in US.

Identify and manage partner relationships internally and externally to ensure smooth integration into the WBD product delivery process.
Ability to manage complexity and uncertainty associated with new product development.
I *** uence and champion process, tools, operations, and technological improvements to operate global scale cloud-based platform services.
Mentor other software development engineers throughout the organization, building the next generation of leaders.
Build self-ser *** tooling to automate platform adoption of identity services for both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

5-7 years of experience professionally in backend development, proficient in Java, with at least 3-5 years leading and managing software development teams.
A record of building, scaling, and growing teams of 5+ engineers and ownership of an engineer-first software service/product.
Strong technical understanding of Kubernetes-based microser *** architectures, messaging services, DB services, API gateways, ser *** mesh, and infrastructure-as-code technologies/processes.
Experience in large volume transaction systems, data migration workflows, with a focus on quality, precision, and accuracy metrics.
Ability to identify and operationalize workflows into a self-serve system with appropriate guardrails.
Experience building and operating global-scale large platform services in prod environments.
Experience establishing and improving data-driven infrastructure and ser *** KPIs such as performance, scale, availability, reliability, security.
Experience working across cross-functional engineering teams as stakeholders and partners consuming a global platform service.
Effective communication skills, good balance of empathy, leading by example, player-coach as needed, i *** uence and drive change.
Demonstrated experience with building systems using agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).
