Northern Colorado-based production company is looking for a video editor with a passion for good storytelling and an edgy cinematic-style. This is a full time position editing branded stories, reality tv, corporate videos, and short documentary-style films for non-profits and Christian ministries. This is a full time staff position at our Northern Colorado office.

Job Responsibilities:

- Editor must be professional, reliable and easy to work with.
- Be able to work a standard schedule and manage deadlines
- Have a strong sense of storytelling
- Love collaboration and teamwork
- Be able to handle producer notes and complete them in a timely manner

Creative and Technical Aspects of the Job:

- Editor needs to have strong skill sets in Adobe Premiere Pro, basic knowledge of After Effects, and a working knowledge of Avid is a major plus.
- Editor needs to know how to audio mix, color grade and master videos in Premiere Pro
- Have a good understanding of video compression and Adobe Media Encoder
- A close eye for detail, and be able to detect flaws or issues in the footage or the edit
- Editor needs to have a good understanding of cinematography and what shots mean, as well as a sense of how to build an emotionally charged scene.

Salary range is $30,000 - $40,000 annually and is based on experience.
