We're working on a six part documentary series for FX and we're looking for a post coordinator. We're almost to a fine cut on all six episodes and are looking for someone to help us stay on track as we get closer to locking and eventually into the online.

A lot of the wheels are already in motion with our GFX company, composer & archival clearances, but as we're nearing the final stretch we need someone to help make sure we've got everything squared away and that we stay on schedule. We also need someone who's good with details and knows their way around final deliverables.

The position starts asap through to the end of February. It'd be great to meet and tell you some more about the project.

This unique position calls for a passionate video editor/content creator. This position is, first and foremost, an editor of news content, but many of our staff editors are also content creators who shoot videos and are tremendous storytellers who have a passion for turning raw videos into content that stands out. Download stories from *** One and *** , and as needed able to assume responsibility for coordinating the edits of this content to ensure a successful newscast.

Required Experience:

A successful candidate should have at least three years of experience working in a television newsroom as a video editor.
Ability to multitask, prioritize & manage tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced newsroom environment
This position requires a flexible work schedule, and you must be willing to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be knowledgeable in non-linear editing and have experience using Adobe Premiere
Must be proficient with basic video and audio principles.

Position requires daily work in the field, shooting news, weather and sports content and work in the newsroom to edit videos and prepare for broadcast or digital publishing. Video Editor/Photographer

Shoot video in the field, including interviews, this can be solo or with a reporter
Gathers and organizes raw and edited video into files according to scripts or instructions for newscasts and other programming
Reviews all video for accuracy and adherence to station standards
Operate live equipment in the field, including live backpacks; experience with ENG/SNG vehicles a plus
Determines the specific audio and visual effects necessary to complete stories
Confers with other personnel to discuss assignments, work product and desired effects
Maintains assigned photography/editing equipment
Must have strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and able to handle multiple assignments under deadline
