We are a Los Angeles based company that will be starting on true crime recreations in early June, running through August. Our series covers crimes from various time periods and locations, writing recreation scripts based on the interviews which have been shooting since January.

This series shoots figuratively and artistically whenever possible. There are few actors, mainly tonal vignettes or tableaus of crime scenes. We strive to match the real archival material as closely as possible.

Production designer and art director generally have two weeks of prep, before shooting 1 week with a third set decorator joining the team on set. We are a small crew of about 15, and block shoot 3x episodes at a time.

Responsibilities include:

Plan, forecast, and initiate monthly and quarterly payments
Review talent set ups and other work performed by analysts
Coordinate and communicate with outsourced residuals partner to ensure timely set ups as well as timely processing of triggers, revenues, and payments
Support audit requests for both external, guild, and internal audits
Work with our outsourcing partner and internal Financial Reporting Group to ensure accurate and timely journal entries are booked

Hiring Salary Range: $96,300.00 - 130,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. What You'll Do:

As the Executive Producer in the Physical Production Department, you will supervise and mentor other members of the production team and serve as the client facing point of contact on projects of all types/budget sizes. Reporting into the Director of Production Operations, you’ll help establish and define production processes that will be followed by the entire team. And, as a senior member of the Production team, you’ll maintain communication with key internal and external stakeholders across Legal, Creative, Editorial, Finance, and Account teams.

Who You Are:

15+ years of relevant work experience (5 years of agency work)
Must have a very deep understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and close outs
Must be comfortable working in Movie Magic Budgeting
Must have a strong grasp on crew department head roles and above/below-the-line positions
Must have experience managing and delegating to both Freelance and Staff direct reports
Understand the mechanics of how production at a digital production studio is run, including experience with digital media workflows and post-production
Experience with Guild Guidelines including; DGA, SAG/AFTRA, WGA preferred
Experience working and interfacing with Clients as it pertains to the Production process

Compensation:

This position has an estimated annual salary range of $130,000-$150,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors. This position must be based in Los Angeles. This will be a hybrid role with a minimum three days in office.

The Edit assistant will follow the workflow set out in the Post Production guidelines below. The edit assistant will be responsible for wrangling of all camera cards, saving and backing up the footage. They will be required to be in the office to manage all the media coming and going from location, saving using correct naming conventions and logging this footage in the database. They may be required to have flexible work hours on occasions to ingest media for a tight turn around. They will also be required to do cast cutdowns and scene cuts as instructed by the Director or Senior Field Producer The edit assistant will also communicate regularly with the Sydney, Australia Post Production team as they will work closely on downloading all the footage sent from the US office. There is a tight turnaround between the shoot and the edit happening in Australia ,the edit assistant needs to make sure that efficiency and attention to detail at all times.
