*** 's Research Enterprise Solutions team is focused on enabling clients to effectively manage and optimize their enterprise-wide research processes. Our RMS product enables Buy-side clients to manage their internal research process across a team, department, or firm and helps them make higher quality investment decisions.
As our RMS business continues to grow the team is looking to hire a product manager to focus on our tools and solutions. You will have direct responsibility for defining, developing, testing, and executing on your product vision for the business while working with cross functional teams. You will also be responsible for understanding our customer's needs - including managing budgets; designing, implementing, and administering new processes (including automated processes for review and approval); overseeing compliance; tracking and reporting on research and engagement activities; analyzing analyst and broker performance; etc.) and ensuring that we have robust solutions that meet them.
We'll trust you to:
- Deeply understand our customer's needs, problems, and workflows, as well as our competitive environment and market conditions.
- Develop a clear vision for your product(s), articulating how it solves problems and delivers value to our customers.
- Take a lead role in product design, development and roll out of new solutions.as well as in the maintenance and improvement of existing solutions.
- Develop a roadmap and lead execution through an agile development process through drafting stories, writing technical and functional specifications. identifying acceptance criteria, staging incremental releases, and developing metrics to measure business impact and success.
- Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables are well understood, implemented in the most efficient manner and delivery targets are met
- Track projects, and articulate roadblocks, delays, and successes, keeping internal stakeholders advised of progress throughout the development lifecycleWork with Marketing and Sales to promote releasable product to clients and to help build *** 's brand
- Work collaboratively with sales and implementations teams throughout the sales cycle including presale demos and proposals, client training and on boarding and communicating product enhancements
You'll need to have:
- 3+* years of product management or other relevant experience with a track record of execution and delivering products that meet client needs,
- A deep understanding of financial markets across multiple asset classes and player types
- Fluency with data and understanding of product metrics
- Ability to create strategic goals, prioritize outcomes, and develop roadmaps
- Experience in project management, strong organizational skills, and an ability to map dependencies.
- Ability to communication effectively with both internal and external stakeholders and customers
- Interact and connect with both clients and internal stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in senior stakeholder engagement and ability to engage and collaborate with, i *** uence, and build consensus across key stakeholders to ensure the successful build and execution of products
We'd love to see:
- Experience in Fixed Income, Private Markets and/or Buy-Side Research Management Solutions
- Extensive network of relationships across asset managers, asset owners and ser *** providers to them
- Ability to work in a challenging, complex and fast paced environment with high degree of self-motivation.
