Reporting to the Executive Producer and Supervising Producers, as well as working closely with our Production teams, this role will be responsible for the execution of daily editorial content covering an array of topics in a variety of forms, from breaking news to red carpets to oversight and execution of package pieces.

This position will crash day of air pieces and breaking news, so writing, edit, and strong storytelling skills are a must. This position will produce in the field and at offsite interviews when needed, source and advance news stories, and work well within a team environment. Essential Responsibilities

Oversee creative segments under the direction of the EP, Co-EP, and Supervising Producers as well as work closely with Production team members to ensure budget expectations are met, staffing needs are communicated, and post/deliverables are executed on time.
Be a one-person band when necessary, crashing day of air pieces for broadcast with quick turnarounds.
Contribute towards building the brand identity by being able to take information and create engaging and interactive formats in which the viewer can participate.

ABOUT THE JOB

The production team takes the creative goals of the development team and translates them into achievable steps to reach those goals. We anticipate and avoid pitfalls in the path toward our creative vision and technical processes. We build plans and seek alignment on strategy across all disciplines while keeping a healthy balance of scope and creative ambition. As a Senior Producer at Night School Studio, you'll be leading production on one of our game titles and working within our department on establishing and improving our development processes.

Responsibilities Include

Support studio developers and projects to drive vision and execution at a high quality.
Help translate our creative ambitions into balanced, healthy production realities.
Mentor, motivate, and support your teammates and partners by identifying and helping to remove roadblocks and project risks.
Identify, build, and drive programs that span multiple projects and initiatives inside the studio and with our partners.
Ensure high visibility to the teams and stakeholders on the strategy and status of projects and goals.
Work with leadership and development teams on building and maintaining project timelines, production plans, and budgeting.

Skills & Requirements

8+ years of game studio development experience shipping multiple games.
Strong fluency in game development methodologies, best practices, and production systems.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with a passion for working with and guiding creative teams.
Skillful ability to scale up and down on day-to-day needs that range from high-level development strategy to the nitty gritty tasks.
Excellent writing, analysis, and organizational skills.
Thrives in uncertainty and an enthusiasm for working with new or bleeding-edge tech stacks.

Preferred Skills

Hands-on development experience building games as a developer and understanding of the creative and technical side of making games.
Experience with game publishing on major platforms such as Mobile, PlayStation, Switch, Steam, Xbox, etc.
Highly knowledgeable about the game industry from a player's and developer's perspective.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $60,000 - $270,000.

Sinclair, Inc. is looking for a Producer, Podcasts to help develop, produce, and grow a slate of new and ongoing podcasts, with a focus on sports content.

Candidates must have experience in the podcast, radio, or TV space (or similar), with strong content development skills across multiple digital and linear channels. Basic knowledge of audio + video production, including recording and editing equipment and software, is a requirement.

The role requires someone who can showrun multi-channel content across a variety of formats. You should be able to oversee the entire process from the onset: ideation, to development, to launch, to ongoing development and growth. Collaborating with talent, production staff, senior leadership, and key stakeholders, will be a vital component of the role.

What You'll Do:

Lead the day-to-day production for a variety of podcasts, supporting in all aspects of content development, editing, publishing, promotion, and monetization
Conceptualize new show launches from scratch, collaborating with talent and senior leadership on content, formatting, production, and distribution strategies
Lead a team of show editors, associate producers, and social coordinators, creating a collaborative team environment
Effectively communicate with all cross-functional teams, ensuring information is delivered to the proper parties, including sales, marketing, and PR.
Educate and elevate all talent and staff, coaching them on best practices, maximizing their skillsets
Ensure all sponsorship requirements are completed and QC'd, including host-read ads, sponsored segments, and video/social integrations
Collaborate with internal teams to execute an effective promotional strategy across a variety of mediums
Assist in recording episodes, along with guest booking and coordination, both in person and remotely
Create and manage production schedules and calendars to ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner
Keep up with news and trends to understand how to develop programming based on what is resonating with audiences
Assemble all episode files and QC before publishing to ensure quality standards are high
Track show analytics and audience trends, use creative judgement to help shape future editorial decisions
Liaise with senior leadership to provide show updates, feedback, and growth plans

Who You Are:

4+ years of content development experience in podcasts, radio, television or similar
Strong passion for sports; knowledge of current and historical information across a variety of teams and leagues, both pro and collegiate
Highly skilled with audio + video recording and editing software and hardware
Collaborative leader, able to both give and take direction/feedback on various projects
Extremely well organized, able to manage projects at various stages simultaneously
A willingness to problem solve, and an attitude to always do what is needed to get the job done
A creative outside-the-box thinker, ideating new ways to engage audiences across a variety of platforms
Ability to work efficiently against a deadline, ensuring projects are moving along on time without sacrificing quality
Strong understanding of growth strategies of multi-channel content and how podcasts can be distributed across a variety of mediums
Knowledge of audio + video podcast hosting platforms (i.e. Megaphone, YouTube)
Comfortable working directly with high-profile talent, maintaining a professional demeanor

The base salary compensation range for this role is $65,000 to $85,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
