We are seeking an organized and proactive Assistant Director for an exciting upcoming shoot in with a major beverage brand in New York City. This project involves following a fleet of trucks around Manhattan and coordinating multiple camera setups, including drone footage, mobile cameras, and strategically placed shooters. The shoot will also include capturing footage at a large event in Brooklyn.

We'll handle the scheduling, call sheets, etc-- but do ask that you're available for a pre-production call with the full team (likely on Thursday 5/30), and for a call (likely on Friday 5/31) with just the producer / director / DP.

Responsibilities:

-Assist the team in planning and executing the shoot
-Ensure all teams are in sync, on time, and capturing the necessary footage.
-Facilitate communication between the director, camera operators, and other crew members.
-Help set up and capture footage at a large event in Brooklyn.
-Ensure all equipment and team members are prepared and in position on schedule.
-Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the shoot.

Requirements:

-Proven experience as an Assistant Director in video production.
-Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
-Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Drive innovation of the statistical and machine learning methodologies and tools used by the team.
Recruit, hire, and train junior data scientists and foster their professional development.

Qualifications

*Basic Requirements:

Must have a minimum of a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, and at least 7 years of experience in the job offered or at east 7 years of experience in data science and analytics.
Stated experience must include at least 7 years of experience in the following: developing and implementing machine learning model solutions, including risk propensity models, customer lifetime value models, recommender systems and personalization/Next Best Action algorithms to guide user interactions and content choices; experience in programming languages (Python, PySpark, SQL) including ability to design patterns, write efficient and reusable code, and apply secure coding practices; experience with data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and cloud-based data solutions (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure); experience in model productization and deployment using tools, including .Net microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow, MLflow, or Jenkins; and experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, ML infrastructures and data governance procedures.
Must have at least 4 years in a leadership role, including experience managing teams, internal external stakeholders, and presenting to C-suite levels.
Must also have at least 3 years of experience in the following: Adobe Clickstream, mParticle, and *** /streaming first-party data management; and experience in the streaming or *** industry, with a specialization in advanced analytics and data science applications for developing strategies around customer and content.

We are offering a salary range of $200,000 per year to $240,000 per year, depending upon qualifications.
