The Business Operations Manager position is responsible for owning the daily analysis for cash transactions and DX asset volumes. You and the team will lead process reviews with the Currency Operations Teller Cash Recycler (TCR) Analysis team and partner with all Business Operations teams. You will work with partners to develop, analyze and report on key decision support standardized and ad-hoc reports.
You will review ideas and concepts as well as test new system implementations and cash software improvements related to Currency TCR Operations and asset systems. The includes design, development and implementation of das *** ards and associated data in partnership with internal teams. - Responsible for daily monitoring of location TCR usage (200+ cash/coin units) and of system interfaces for cash TCR software ensuring daily cash activity is posting accurately
- Month/quarter end preparation and analysis of cash activity
- Overseeing functions related to daily work in process accounts and the resolution of account variances and/or over/short amounts
- Perform technical accounting research to assist in the determination of accurate accounting treatment of business transactions
- Schedule and conduct TCR training for WDW Operations partners in cash handling roles
- Drive analysis assessment of trends and key issues reporting suspicious activity to partners and development of key controls to address risk
- Consolidate reporting needs for multiple departments to create key performance indicators and build financial models
- Provide support, lead and assist with ad hoc requests/special projects to support operational decision making and improve current processes
- Provide leadership to (2) direct reports.
Here is what you will need to be successful in the role...
- Five years or more of experience in Finance and/or related field
- Coaching, leadership skills and strong organizational, time management skills and ability to multi-task.
- Understanding of all levels of TCR functionality and analysis while working closely with the Parks & Resorts Operations teams to understand, model, and communicate any potential operational improvements.
- Analytical and problem solving skills, as well as continuous improvement process skills.
- Partnering skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prepare and present information to support decision making
- Ability to learn quickly in fast paced environment and someone who is a self-starter.
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with SAP, Business Objects, SharePoint, Tableau, Jira, Smart-sheets and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
