The Opportunity
*** is driving new industry standards in the promotion of new technologies such as immersive sound, HDR, and groundbreaking display technologies. As the creative work on *** Originals evolves to engage with these new standards, the demand to review content in an immersive, technically accurate, and creatively engaging environment grows. The APAC Screenings Operations Team facilitates a variety of screenings in *** 's screening rooms, theaters, and other technical review spaces while providing exceptional ser *** to *** 's teams and the filmmakers working on our shows. The growing slate and increasing number of screenings creates an opportunity for the Coordinator to be part of a highly impactful team.
About the Role
We are looking for a Screenings Operations Coordinator who will play a key role in supporting a team of seasoned screenings and event professionals. The Coordinator will be at the center of operations that tie together screenings technicians, rooms/venues and assets for each request to ensure a successful event. As the face of the team, the Coordinator will be the first point of contact for internal client requests, leading all communications and project management.
The scope of this role is broad and tasks are varied, extensive and timely. The role of a coordinator is one who can flex to support across a wide range of activities with different audiences.
Primary focus: Creating tactical efficiencies for the screenings team. Lead project management of all screenings requests - from intake to delivery. Be the first point of contact for the team, from requests to escalations, working closely with the wider screenings and events teams across APAC. Lead meeting planning and preparation, work with other coordinators across the department to put in place a set of best practices that enable us to move quicker, bigger and *** ter; coordinating with outside agencies, vendors, venues and internal teams; assisting with meeting schedules and facilitation, including help putting together documentations and coordinating screening assets and technical needs; updating documents; helping to coordinate and timelines. Manage through team calendars, budget trackers, contracts and payments. While this is a support role, there is a huge opportunity to make an impact on the team.
Secondary focus: Support screenings which drive conversations around *** titles, talent and the brand. This can involve supporting the delivery of press, *** or fan screenings.
The Work
- Identify and determine client needs for each incoming request and involve the necessary parties to attain a successful, well-supported screening.
- Liaise with Post Production Management / Originals Publicity / Awards / Content Acquisition / Events to coordinate viewing events ranging from QC Sessions, Color-Critical Reviews, and Director's Cut reviews to Premieres, Press Screenings, and Talent Screenings.
- Liaise with Publicity and Events to book screening venues for Press & *** Screenings
- Manage vendors and projection personnel to ensure proper coverage for all screening needs within schedule parameters.
- Receive, download, transport, and load screening assets.
- Manage project timelines and budget from intake to delivery
- Foster trusting and collaborative relationships with screening stakeholders.
- Assist in day-to-day administrative support (e.g. team admin, coordinate/calendar meetings and events, event folder organization, RFPs, develop best practice tools, etc)
- Assist in vendor sourcing, management, contracts and payments.
The Candidate
- Proven experience of 5+ years of screening operations or production/post production project management; preferably from an agency, studio, network or a brand. *Note that this is not an entry level opportunity.
- Have experienced facilitating events within a fast-paced, rapidly changing, time sensitive environment
- Effective in dealing with external vendors, agencies and internal stakeholders
- Curious to innovate to make the work *** ter - interest in developing best practice and streamlining administrative processes which can simplify how we work
- Excellent organizational skills, awareness of deadlines and high attention to detail. Meticulous about the details and thorough, completes tasks and follows up
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal, sensitive to cultural nuances and D&I aspects
- Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task across projects, while remaining flexible and nimble. Scrappy, resourceful and relentless in trying to find a solution
- A proactive and positive thinker and a constant contributor to the team
- Proficient knowledge of Google Suite and are quick to learn and adapt with new systems
- Excellent communication in Korean and English
- Experience working in the Asia-Pacific region
