*** Music Group is looking for a talented marketing professional to coordinate and support the General Entertainment marketing team, focused on the Hollywood Records artist roster. Passion for music, visual creative and a deep understanding of the ''fan'' mentality is a must. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with an ability to handle multiple projects at once and prioritize within a fast-paced work environment. A strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and ability to flourish in a high-pressure environment are a necessity.
Responsibilities:
- Actively participate & assist the marketing team in building innovative music marketing campaigns and fan acquisition and growth strategies
- Support the Marketing Leads in creation, collection and distribution of release assets & marketing materials for product launch ensuring key individuals internally and externally are equipped with everything they need
- Maintain and distribute a variety of status reports
- Ad hoc research and analysis of various music industry trends and sales
- Research and evaluate the competitive marketplace, provide industry insights focused on marketing and consumption activities
- Handle invoicing, payment of vendor invoices and set-up of new vendors in SAP finance system (experience with SAP a major plus)
- Manage relationships with outside marketing companies, street teams, and various other business partners
- Track marketing campaigns and their results
- Manage relationships with artists, managers, and other *** business areas
- Create compelling visual assets for music releases
Qualifications:
- Exceptional knowledge of new music trends, pop culture, social *** and technologies
- Bachelors degree in related field, and/or equivalent job experience
- Experience with one or more creative software tools such as Adobe, Photoshop, Final Cut, Premiere
- Experience compiling and analyzing marketing data from various sources
- Work independently as well as work closely with a group
- Ability to assist the team in managing multiple projects with concurrent timelines
- Excellent time management, follow-up skills, organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Adaptable, quick learner with fundamental problem solving skills
- Experience with music centric databases such as Luminate & Chartmetric are a plus
The hiring range for this position in California is $56,000 to $64,130 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
