To cultivate, develop and convert business opportunities for meetings, corporate events and incentive group business from Hong Kong and related overseas markets. Target markets include Hong Kong corporate accounts, as well as reactive sales responsibility for designated regions. Tasked with maximizing business development opportunities within own industry segments
Responsibilities:
- Achieve agreed event revenue goals, room nights and park admissions targets
- Identify, cultivate and maintain business development opportunities within market segment assigned
- Assist in developing, planning, implementation and execution of tactics and programs in accordance to the business model and strategy on entire portfolio of corporate product line include meetings, incentive, corporate events in hotel and park.
- Develop incremental business to sustain continuous growth
- Assist manager to provide training and development of new staff, as well as continuous product knowledge refresh.
- Attend departmental sales & marketing team meetings, as well as representation at external line of business meetings.
- Participate in local and overseas trade shows and corporate direct sales calls.
- Bachelor degree holder with minimum 2 years' experience in sales management or catering & convention services role
- Sound background knowledge of F&B, meeting planning and group movement within a hotel / resort area is required.
- Strong selling techniques and banquet knowledge
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Business oriented with strong analytical skills and good sense in local and global market trends
- Aggressive, ambitious, organized, self-motivated
- Ability to work under pressure, achieve sales targets, juggle deadlines and priorities
- Excellent communication skills and able to work with different Line of Businesses within the company
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer orientated, able to multi-task and work well under a fast paced environment
- Strong project management skills are required
- Computer skills in MS Office, Delphi and Opera will be an asset
- Excellent command of both spoken and written communication skills in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
